I just received my July 2019 statement and was surprised to discover that you still have not reversed a charge that does not belong to me and which I reported to you last month. I have attached a copy of my first letter for your review.
As I stated in my first letter, this item appears on my June statement and is referenced no. X575758595959. It was paid to Acme Industries in the amount of $470.00. I did not make this charge and have no idea why it has been attributed to my account. I am once again requesting that this matter be investigated and the error corrected as soon as possible.
In accordance with the Fair Credit Billing Act, you are required to correct such errors within 60 days of them having been reported to you. If this error is not corrected within that time period, I will have no choice but to report this matter to the proper authorities.
